How to set up subfolder targeting
Subfolder targeting is part of Attrac's advanced targeting options, and it enables you to display your campaign on a specific subfolder address.
In this guide, you will learn how to set up subfolder targeting for your campaigns.
What is a subfolder?
A subfolder is simply an address under your main domain, denoted by the /folderName pattern. For example, https://yourwebsite.com/en or https://yourwebsite.com/pages/mypage.htm, the /en and /pages are subfolders, and you can target all the pages in these subfolders.
How to set up subfolder targeting?
To set up subfolder targeting for your campaign, please follow the steps below:
- In your campaign settings, go to the Targeting section.
- Under Page & Domain Targeting, select “Specific subfolders”.
- A new field will appear to enter the subfolders where you want the campaign to appear.
- In the “Subfolders” field, enter the name of one or more desired subfolders, each with its trailing slash. For our previous example, if we would like to implement it, we would enter /en in the subfolders field. This will display the campaign only on all pages in the /en subfolder: https://yourwebsite.com/en or https://yourwebsite.com/en/myproducts.htm
- You can add more than one subfolder for the same campaign, and you can choose to display the campaign on those subfolder addresses or hide it by selecting either the Include or Exclude options.
